No Infringement is a group of concerned citizens who are fed up with the leadership of the NRA.  If tragedy and comedy are two sides of the same coin, we've clearly had enough of the former, and statistically that means we should be getting more of the latter.   Historically, satire profoundly influenced our nation's political discourse.   Our favorite Founding Father is Benjamin Franklin, not because of the bifocals or the lightning and key experiment, but mainly because he used satire.   Also, Ben was such a ladies man. ​ 



Simply put, if we thought the solution to every problem was more guns, then we'd have to buy new computer equipment every time the dang thing froze up.  The NRA thinks armed officers in the schools would solve every problem in high school, but it's clear they've never watched an episode of Glee.  It's also clear that they just don't get it, and their vehement defense of the Second Amendment is not only short-sighted, it is incomplete. 

 

Why do we allow such an extreme group to have such an outsize effect upon our elected officials and an important public policy matter like public safety?  



No Infringement wants to just bring a common sense understanding to the Constitution.  "Shall not be infringed" is pretty clear, and Supreme Court precedent is clear that such arms mean "ordinary military equipment".  So, why is LaPierre just focused on protecting brutally lethal semi-automatic weapons used in horrifying shootings, when our military has armaments with much more firepower that can combat the coming alien invasions and zombie apocalypse?



We want to keep you and your family prepared.  If there is anything we've learned from constant exposure to Hollywood movies and violent video games, it's that zombies and aliens are coming for dinner.   I humbly offer the invaders a platter of LaPierre, with a side of NRA cronies.  We don't need them, nor their divisive leadership that just puts the profits of the gun manufacturers ahead of the safety of the American people.
